Which Reddit videos can I transcribe?
Videos uploaded to Reddit itself, from the link to the post that contains them. When a post links to YouTube or another site, the video is hosted there, so open that video and use its own link instead.
Why did my Reddit link fail?
A link can fail for a few minutes at a time, and removed posts cannot be processed. Try again after a few minutes, or use the browser extension from the post in your own browser.
Are comments included?
No. Only the audio of the video is transcribed. Comments and the text of the post are not part of the transcript.
Can I quote an interview or AMA video accurately?
Yes. Each segment has a timestamp and a speaker label, so a quote can be checked against the moment it was said.
How long can a Reddit video be?
Without an account, one transcription covers up to 5 minutes of each video. A free account covers up to 25 minutes per transcription, within 120 minutes per month, and you can continue a longer video from where its transcript stopped. Paid plans cover up to 4 hours per transcription on Plus, 8 hours on Pro and 16 hours on Max.
Is VocaScript free, and do I need an account?
